Kids Jiu-Jitsu

Our Kids Jiu-Jitsu program at Experience MMA is designed to help children develop confidence, discipline, coordination, and resilience in a structured and supportive environment. Using Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as the foundation, students learn how to control positions, solve problems, and stay calm under pressure — skills that translate far beyond the mats.

Classes focus on teaching age-appropriate fundamentals such as basic positions, escapes, sweeps, submissions, and defensive awareness. Instruction is delivered in a clear, organized way that emphasizes listening, respect, and proper behavior, while keeping students engaged and active.

Training includes structured drills, partner exercises, and movement patterns that help children understand how techniques connect. Depending on the group and experience level, classes may also include controlled positional sparring or light rolling to introduce live problem-solving in a safe and supervised setting.

Our Kids Jiu-Jitsu classes are typically grouped by age (5–7 and 8–13), allowing us to tailor instruction to each child’s developmental level while still challenging more experienced students within the class. The goal is to build strong fundamentals, encourage personal growth, and create a positive training experience that supports long-term development in martial arts.

Kids Muay Thai

The Kids Muay Thai program at Experience MMA introduces children to the fundamentals of striking in a fun, structured, and safe environment. Drawing from Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing, this program helps students develop coordination, balance, focus, and physical confidence.

Classes emphasize proper technique, basic footwork, and fundamental strikes such as punches, kicks, knees, and elbows — always taught with control and age-appropriate expectations. Training may include pad work, light bag work, movement drills, and conditioning games designed to improve fitness while reinforcing discipline and teamwork.

Safety and control are a top priority. There is no full-contact sparring in Kids Muay Thai. Instead, students learn how to move, strike with proper form, and build confidence while respecting their training partners.

Kids Muay Thai classes are typically grouped by age (5–7 and 8–13), allowing instruction to be adapted to each child’s maturity and ability level. Our goal is to help children build strong fundamentals, develop a positive attitude toward training, and enjoy the process of learning martial arts in a structured and encouraging environment.
