Julie is the welcoming heart and operational backbone of Experience MMA, ensuring that every student and family feels supported, confident, and valued from their very first visit. As VP of Operations and Client Experience Director, she oversees the day-to-day operations ---- including memberships, client communications, scheduling and facility management —ensuring a seamless, professional, and stress-free experience for all.

With a strong background in customer service and a passion for empowering others, Julie plays a key role in shaping the warm, family-oriented culture that defines Experience MMA. Her attention to detail and thoughtful oversight allow instructors and students to focus fully on what matters most: training, progress, and personal growth. Julie’s influence extends far beyond operations. You’ll often find her on the mats, assisting with kids’ martial arts classes alongside Coach Danny and their son Alex.
She builds meaningful connections with parents, encourages shy beginners, celebrates small victories, and helps every child feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. Driven by a strong commitment to anti-bullying, empowerment, and character development, Julie helps children develop the confidence, resilience, and critical thinking skills they need to succeed — both in martial arts and in life.​

For Julie, martial arts is a catalyst for transformation—a place where kids and adults discover their strength, learn responsibility, and grow into their best selves within a supportive community. ​
Her dedication is deeply personal and is fuelled by her own family’s martial arts journey. After traveling and training alongside her husband Danny for more than 27 years — and cheering for their beloved son Alex in countless competitions — she has witnessed firsthand how martial arts builds discipline, perseverance, and belief in what’s possible. ​
At home, Julie cherishes time with Danny and Alex, and their two beloved feline furbabies—Molly and Mizuki—finding joy and balance in family life while continuing to pour her heart into their Experience community.
