Born into martial arts and forged by resilience, Alex Fung is a rising force in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA. Training since age 4 under the guidance of his father and coach, Professor/Kru Yai Danny Fung, Alex embodies discipline, determination, and the relentless drive that defines elite martial artists.
A Champion Against the Odds

At just 14 months old, Alex faced a rare blood disorder and a neuromuscular condition that threatened his ability to walk. Rather than hold him back, he turned adversity into fuel. He began walking, embraced martial arts, and stepped onto the competition mats at age 6. Since then, Alex has competed in over 100 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, winning hundreds of gold medals in Gi and No-Gi divisions, while also achieving remarkable results in Muay Thai fights. Known as “The Prodigy,” Alex’s nickname reflects not only his natural talent, but his resilience, work ethic, and ability to turn every challenge into an opportunity for growth — both on and off the mats.
